Favorite Send to FastDrawSouth Carolina ran this BLOB action for P.J. Dozier against Gonzaga in the 2017 NCAA Final Four. The first option is to hit the cutter on the backcut versus the overplay/denial. If the passer cannot hit the backcut, the action flows into a dribble handoff then the stagger screen for back cutter on the strong-side for an open 3-point shot. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawWith 5:57 left in their Final Four matchup with Stanford, Coach Dawn Staley called this Horns set to get a quick high low for their 3 player who was being guarded by a smaller defender. South Carolina loves to run their high low action with A'Ja Wilson and Alaina Coates, but with Coates nursing an injury, they had to turn to an unconventional high low action to keep it rolling. Favorite Send to FastDrawRotations are extremely difficult to nail down and teams must drill constantly to make sure there is an understanding of who is rotating. The other factor that makes these rotations work is constant communication. The best defenses are constantly talking and communicating with each other. Another note when practicing the rotations, it is important to have all players practice every position in the rotation. It helps them learn what their teammates are doing but situations may occur where they will be in position. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWhen a team has to double the post, there are a few different rotations depending how the offense plays off the post. For the first example we will assume the double team is coming from a guard. The first question is: which guard is going to double the post? See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Zags have effectively used this Hi / Lo action all season and tonight to try and get and more action with their bigs to the ring they used it as well. Gonzaga has good size down low and this has been a very good action for them all season. The FT Line flash is perfectly timed as Collins comes hard to the ball side and receives the pass, with Williams turning his body for the Hi / Lo action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Gators used this set out of a timeout in the 1st half against Virginia in Round 2 of the NCAA Tournament. The multiple ball screen action is very tough to defend and yields an open 3 pt shot to Robinson who broke out in Game 1 of the Tournament for Florida. Florida moves their personnel around the floor creating the best angles for screening and attacking off the dribble. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is an Offensive staple of the Virginia Cavaliers. This offense is so well run by the Cavaliers, they read everything so well and know how to move without the ball. Tony Bennett is such a defensive guru, but this Offensive action they run is really nice to watch and the continuity keeps it moving throughout the shot clock. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUSC went to this play late in the first half when Baylor switched out of their zone defense and into man. The Trojans used the screen from 2 to get 5 open and isolate him in the post. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAn Iverson action counter play used by South Carolina during the 2017 NCAA Tournament. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWest Virigina likes to run this action throughout the game especially with the luxury of having Adrian a true "stretch" 4 in the game. Carter (PG) has the option of either taking the UCLA screen or stepping back for a shot or drive. 2 (SG) Miles Jr. can then curl off the step out screen from Adrian and has the option to immediately come back and screen-the-screener (option in this set as well). The exchange on the baseline makes the defense turn their heads to guard and with Ahmad (SF) a strong presence also on the block, Coach Bob Huggins set play gets a lot out of their personnel. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis simple set does not look like anything at first look, but what makes this isolation action so effective is the open space Thomas has to attack the basket off the back door cut from Mackenzie. The defense all goes to one side giving Thomas the chance to attack the paint, drop-off to the center or kick-out for the open 3 pt shot if the defense sags in. See More
