Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a good drill for players to work on getting open away from the ball. The defensive player must also work very hard to prevent 1 from making an easy catch. The passer must also work at delivering the pass on time and on target. You can play to a set score or a set number of stops. We will move spots on the floor to increase the difficulty for the offense or defense See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawUse whatever defensive principles and offensive principles you teach. The defense can trap or play straight up. On a change of possession the offense goes to the last zone and each defensive team moves forward a zone with the first defensive team becoming to the new offense. Run this drill for 4-8 minutes and keep score. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis drill is designed to teach primary break by getting players to fill lanes and get the ball up the floor quickly by passing it. Favorite Send to FastDrawI have had great success in using this drill as a way to get my players warmed up and for team-building purposes. The players must make a specified number of lay-ups before moving on to the next stage (from five passes to four passes to three passes to being done). For a lay-up to be considered to be "made", the ball must not touch the floor at any time and the lay-up must be shot with the proper hand. Make absolutely sure that your players are catching the ball with their feet in the air and coming to a jump stop. This will prevent them from developing bad habits by traveling with the ball.
