Favorite Send to FastDrawWe run this for 10 minutes with half of the team on each end of the court, starting on the right side. We do 1:30 shot fake and drive, 1:30 shot fake-escape dribble jumper, and 2:00 catch and shoot. Then we switch ENDS (they are now all on the left side of court) and work back down. 2:00 catch and shoot, 1:30 shot fake-escape dribble jumper, 1:30 shot fake and drive. We stress ball fakes before the pass, jump stop finishes, great closeouts, shot fakes, and covering ground with our dribble. We choose 2 different spots to start from each day to change the spots we shoot from and the passing and driving angles, but the drill stays the same. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBASELINE DRIFT - 1 man sweeps the ball below his knees and drives to the basket - 2 man simulates his man helping on the drive and drifts to the baseline - 1 comes to a jump stop and passes to 2 for with his baseline hand for the shot (NOTE: 2 man, don't sprint to the corner. Stay in your stance and slide to the corner) CRACK BACK - 1 man sweeps the ball below his knees and drives to the basket - 2 man simulates his man helping on the drive and drifts to the wing - 1 comes to a jump stop, reverse pivots with his 1/2 court foot, and passes to 2 for the shot (NOTE: 2 man, don't sprint to the wing. Stay in your stance and slide to the wing) WAKE - 1 man sweeps the ball below his knees and drives to the basket - 2 man simulates his man helping on the drive and drifts to the wake - 1 comes to a jump stop, and passes with his 1/2 court hand to 2 for the shot (NOTE: 2 man, don't sprint to the wake. From there 1 will either attack the basket, shoot a runner in the lane or make a pull up jump shot. Drill. Attack cone with a change of direction and get to the free throw line with explosiveness. Hesitate and make 15 layups, runners and jump shots. Do on both sides of the court. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw1 will give multiple crossovers stationary to set up the defender. 1 then transitions to a quick between the legs move to sell the go, but pulls up into jump shot (freeze pull up). Drill: Use 3 change of directions stationary into a quick between the legs and freeze pullup. Make 15 going towards the baseline and 15 towards the elbow on both sides of the court. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawTake a couple of dribbles towards the top of the key. As soon as the defender shifts, quickly cross back over and drive baseline. Use same move to make 20 makes with runners on both sides of the court. See More
