Basketball Play - 3-on-3 Flow - Competitive Conditioning

3-on-3 Flow - Competitive Conditioning

Joel Hueser 06/16/2018

3-on-3 Flow (aka Flow Ball) is another one of our team favorites. Credit goes to @John_Leonzo for this fastbreak conditioner. We love it for a variety of reasons, but mostly for its emphasis on defensive transition and uptempo offense. We have adapted the following scoring rules: 1) Play to 15 using 2's and 3's. 2) Player who scores game winner must validate with a made freet hrow. 3) Should the player miss, team score returns to 11 and play resumes. Basketball Play - Warrior Finishing Drill: Forwards

Warrior Finishing Drill: Forwards

Irvin Jerry 06/13/2019

This is a continuous shooting drill that allows our forwards to work on games shots and adds a conditioning element. Once completed on the right side immediately start on left. We like to have each player go through this drill two times then switch shooter. You can add time to increase intensity. We used the video below as inspiration to tailor the drill to our personnel. Basketball Play - 3v3 Cut Throat Rebounding

3v3 Cut Throat Rebounding

Michael Lynch 04/11/2019

This is a 3v3 Rebounding drill that can be used for both sides of the basketball. Split your team into groups of three or four. The rotation for the drill is to enter on defense, then move to offense, and finally (if unsuccessful) out of the drill. If your team secures an offensive rebound they get to stay on offense and continue to earn points. If your team gives up an offensive rebound then your team exits the drill and a new team comes on. The Scoring System: 1 Point for a Defensive Rebound, 3 Points for an Offensive Rebound, and 2 or 3 points if you can score it off the Offensive Rebound. Each new possession must start with one of the two scenarios depicted below. Coaches then set the number or time they want to play until. The team with the highest score wins, the other teams get conditioning. Blog Posts: Crash the Glass: Making a Case for Offensive Rebounding Developing a Rebounding System See More
