Favorite Send to FastDrawOklahoma State Cowboys Backscreen continuity offense Because the scouting report is that Phil Forte is a great shooter and cannot be left, Travis Ford use him as a screener and he backscreens for Le'Bryan Nash. There is flex and screen-the-screener action in the offense. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAlthough Manhattan is already out, head coach Steve Masiello had the Jaspers running some quality actions. In these 1-4 High Options, both plays start with the same guard loop action. If your team has good stretch forwards, these plays will get your 4 and 5 the ball at the elbow or perimeter in position to shoot or pass to the open shooter. Option 1: If the back-screen isn't open (3 cutting off of a screen from 4), 5 passes to 1 on the wing. 3 then cuts through the elevator screen from 4 and 5 for a shot. Option 2: In the second option, 5 passes to 4 instead of 1 flaring to the wing. Once 4 has the ball, the Jaspers run a flex action with 3 screening for 2 and 5 screening down for 3. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a common proset that has horns and flex elements to it. The DHO back to the poin guard's possesson is a great feature to get the ball back into your playmakers hands where they can make a play. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a good down screen/flex action followed by an on ball screen. Options are 4 coming off 5's down screen, 3's flex cut, and 1's penetration off ball screen. Three scoring options are available on 1's penetration; 1 drives to basket, dishes to 5, or dishes to 3 for shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMark Turgeon is in his 3rd season with the Terps and led them to a 25 win season last year and an appearance in the NIT Semi-Finals This is a nice play which gives the shooter the option to read the defense and take advantage of what is given With Dez Wells, the Terps have an experienced player handling the ball with the ability to set-up the play as Coach Turgeon needs Layman is a lights out 3 pt shooter and in this play, he reads the defense jumping off the screen, quickly reacting, he cuts backdoor for a possible quick hit pass Wells makes the play work by coming back, receiving the hand-off and hitting the former Michigan State big man Smotrycz for an open 3 See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe University of Virginia ran this 1-4 BLOB action against VCU. With the flex screen, the play has a quick hitting action to it off the inbounds pass and the pin down screen-the-screener action gives the shooter a chance to get off an open shot if the defense miscommunicates on the flex cut Here, the PG does a good job reading the defender and gets into the lane off the dribble. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Denver Nuggets run this misdirection Hammer set to free up a shooter in the corner. The use a flare screen at the top to occupy the help defense, forcing a weak side defender to rotate towards the ball. That rotation sets up an opening in the corner for a shooter to make a cut to. Favorite Send to FastDrawWe use is drill to prepare for teams that use flex cuts, shuffle cuts, down screens and cross screens. Coaches can decide how they want to defend these actions. Do you want to switch, go over, under screens? See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Miami Heat ran this action versus the Pelicans Wednesday night to get Chris Anderson an easy dunk at the rim. As 1 was screening for 3, the defense became very oppupied with defending Wade (not seeing the ball). Furthermore, X2 and X5 did not communicate and both ended up on 2, leaving 5 wide open rolling to the rim with no helpside. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play is from the 2010-2011 Houston Rockets season. This play is best for teams with a passing big. You are running this play for your best shooter or scorer and your point guard. You will need to drill with your players on how to come off a hand off, and how to have your bigs read the defense to make the fake hand off. This is a great action for teams with a point guard that will be over played on the hand off. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a set play we used with success in our first season. It has multiple scoring options and a lot of movement. If the timing is good, the defense has to make split second decisions which can lead to easy points either on the paint or on the perimeter. See More
