Basketball Play - Golden State Warriors - Early Random Offense

Golden State Warriors - Early Random Offense

Austin Anderson 05/14/2018

Golden State plays at a fast pace and pushes the tempo. Any time Durant or Green initiates the break, watch Curry and Thompson. Those two are the best at busting out for transition 3's, early movement, and creating opportunities for others. It often doesn't look like much, but the Warriors head hunt to get Curry and Thompson open 3's. Milwaukee Bucks - 21 Mix Fan

Dave Nedbalek 03/26/2018

Although this set is not enthusiastically run, or defended, it is nontheless a good action. The intitial set up looks like it is going to be your basic dribble handoff into a ball screen action, but instead it is a quick pitch to a flare for a 3pt look, or a slip to the rim. Ran with some pace, this could be a really good quick transition action. See More

Basketball Play - Golden State Warriors - Slip Lob

Golden State Warriors - Slip Lob

Matt Wheeler 01/09/2018

The Golden State Warriors ran this transition play late in the fourth quarter in their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Warriors have multiple players capable of bringing the ball up the floor and making plays. This time it was their 4 (Draymond Green). 5 faked the down screen for 2 and slipped to the basket. x5 is concerned about 2 coming off the screen and wants to provide help. This allows 5 to cut to the rim and get the uncontested dunk off a lob from 4. See More
