Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Florida Gators ran this Horns post-up play in their National Semi-Final game versus UCONN. As 4 cross/back-screened 5 (Young), the defense fought to take away the post-up from the Gators' dominant big man, this allowed 4 to seal and duck-in easier. To see EVERY play Florida ran in the 2014 Final Four you can do so in my eBook Championship Execution! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawRichard Pitino took the University of Minnesota to the NIT Final where he was matched up against one of the true coaching legends of the game, SMU's Larry Brown. Brown was looking to be the first coach to win an NBA, NCAA, and NIT Championship. This is a great Motion Set vs a M2M defense incorporating the use of the down screen, back screen, and middle ball screen. The lob option off the back screen is a quick hit action and an effective swing of the ball off the ball screen can catch the defense opening up a possible post pass. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawWichita State head coach Gregg Marshall spoke on Friday at the Men's Final 4 NABC Convention. While he spent some time discussing his philosophy and reasons for success, he talked mostly about his Quick series and how they instructed play calls. Every dead ball or timeout, he could give his players a "1st Play" and "2nd Play" to run in the upcoming segments. The play below is Quick 1, you may recognize it as they ran it versus Kentucky a few times in the NCAA Tournament. See More
