Favorite Send to FastDrawOption 3 out of Montenegro's Elbow set that they ran against Belgium in EuroBasket Women 2017. If 2 is not open on the flare screen from 4, 4 re-screen for 2 into a side pick-&-roll. 4 rolls to the basket as 5 clears the paint to create space for 4 by lifting to the elbow. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawScreen the screener set (STS) ran by the Chicago Bulls this season. Commonly when a STS set is run, it will be followed by a ball screen ("Turn" action) in the spread pick and roll alignment which this set includes. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawBall screen set run by Stelmet Zielona Gora from the Polish Basketball League. Includes a zipper, iverson, and cross screen that flows into a double ball screen for a perimeter player. "Dayton" is a term I came up with when the first ball screen is set player "4" (who automatically pops) and then is followed by a second ball screen by player "5" (who rolls to the rim). See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCommon ball screen set run by Ratiopharm Ulm who won the Germany-BBL regular season title. The set starts in a horns alignment and includes a flex screen, zipper screen, and dribble weave action into the spread pick and roll. Many teams in Europe will commoly have different entries that eventually flow into the spread pick and roll to create confusion amongst the defense. The defense must defend mutiple different actions with this spread pick and roll entry and will have to properly communicate in order to properly defend the dribble weave ball screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Golden State Warriors started the third quarter of Game 4 of the NBA Finals with a concerted effort to get Steph Curry (1) the ball in ball screen situations. After Curry gets the pass off the zipper screen, Klay Thompson (2) makes a decoy Iverson cut off of 5 & 4. This clears the defense to the weak side of the floor and forces x5 to provide help, making him late in the ball screen coverage. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Golden State Warriors used this play early in Game 3 of the NBA Finals to get a look for Klay Thompson (1) off of a post entry action. It's a great play to get the defense to guard multiple actions and get the ball back in your point guard's hands for a shot. The double drag at the beginning of the play was a decoy action to get the ball into the post. After the post entry 1 & 5 set a staggered split screen for 2, who cut to the basket off of 1. 1 was getting overplayed on the screen from 5 and rejected the screen to go backdoor for a layup. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Golden State Warriors ran this play in the 1st quarter, shortly after Javale McGee (5) checked into the game. This play utililizes the athleticism of 5, getting him open because the defense can't provide help on the ball screen off of Steph Curry (1) or Klay Thompson (2). As Kevin Durant (4) turns the corner on the ball screen, McGee gets a running start to the rim. Kevin Love tries to provide help off of 3 but he couldn't get high enough to contest the lob. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Golden State Warriors run this variation of the "Motion Weak" set to get Steph Curry into a pick & roll situation. 1 passes to the wing and cuts through the lane as the ball is reversed to 4 and back to 1. 3 sets a cross screen for 5 who sprints into the ball screen. 1 uses the ball screen to create or get an open shot for himself. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn game 1 of the 2017 NBA Finals the Golden State Warriors ran double drag on back to back possessions. The first time Steph Curry came off of the double ball screen and got a wide open three pointer. The second time they ran it, the Caveliers switched the first ball screen and Kevin Durant rolled to the hoop. Curry passed back to Green (the 5) and dumped it into Durant in the post where he got fouled. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSLOB set ran by the U20 Serbian team in the Eurobasket Championships in 2015. Timing of the down screen set by 4 should be practiced for timing purposes. 4 should set down screen for 2 once 1 starts the cut up to 5 to receive the stationary DHO in the slot. The false action in this set creates a solid opportunity out of the spread pick and roll. The ball coverage of the ball screen (x2) will be weak and late due to the down screen set by 4 and also with the DHO by 1. As a result, this will put extra pressure on the defending big involved on the ball screen (x5) and should create an advantage out of the spread pick and roll. See More
