Favorite Send to FastDrawThis 1-4 High Offense set produces an open three pointer in the corner for a good shooter off a misdirection action. There is enough spacing on the weak side so that if the play breaks down the player with the ball can react to the defense and attack the rim. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a set play that starts out with high stacks and morphs into a 1-4 set. This is a great set because it gets the ball swinging from side to side, has action going both towards and away from the basket, as well as a ball screen. You can also adapt this play so that 2 and 4 play pick and pop after the ball screen or you can pop 1 out for a 3pt chance off a stagger screen from 4 and 5 after 4 ball screens 2. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWith .6 seconds left during game 3 of the NBA Summer League, the Brooklyn Nets ran this sideline out of bounds play to try and win the 4th quarter and secure a point. Considering the lights went out previous to this play, the Nets did a great job executing this play and hit a 3-pointer. Unfortunately, time expired before the shot got off. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's FastDraw Play of the Day is a Half-Court Box Set ran by the Illinois Fighting Illini during the 2012-13 season. Use this set to get an open 3 when your opponent is really exaggerating their weak side help. This set will result in an open 3pt shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Houston Rockets ran this end of quarter play yesterday to get Patrick Beverly a quick shot. This play looks very simple but the execution in which the Rockets executed was phenomenal! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA slob to get your best 3 point shooter 2 chances at a 3. with the alignment and intial action you could put a lot of different counters off of this See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a play that John Calipari ran in his first year at Kentucky. This was a great set for that team because of where it placed their extremely talented players. You had 5 (Cousins) in the post, 1 (John Wall) attacking off the ball screen, and 2 (Eric Bledsoe) coming off of the stagger. They would run this at the end of the shot clock to get a good look. Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a set play that Bucknell ran in the NCAA tournament this year against Butler. This is a counter to a similar action that they ran earlier in the same game. In the previous play 2 would cut to the corner opposite the ball and 1 would hit 3 on the wing for an ISO. In this counter 2 stops his cut under the basket and pops to the top of the key for a catch and shoot opportunity. This is an effective set when coupled with the previously described play. This is a great misdirection quick hitter! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a traditional screen the screener quick hitter out of a box set to get an open 3pt shot for your shooting guard or a post feed. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a set the Miami Heat ran in the Eastern Conference Finals to get Ray Allen a key three point basket against the Indiana Pacers. They utilized mis-direction having Lebron James sprint from the corner to set the ball screen and then pop while running Ray Allen off a stagger. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis clear out play can be used to score quickly in three ways. One, as 3 and 5 clear to the right side, 4 catches at elbow and drives left to open side to score. Second option is hand off from 4-1 for penetration by 1. If 4 fakes the hand off, 3 comes out of th corner using screens from 2 and 5. Give it a try! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGame 3 of the NBA Finals was all about the San Antonio Spurs' role players, so what better way to recognize them than by drawing up one of their many 3-pointers. After an impressive 3 quarters from Danny Green and Gary Neal the Spurs continued their hot shooting by ranning this stagger action to get Neal yet another 3-pointer. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLate in the 2nd quarter of Game 2 of the NBA Finals, the MIami Heat ran this pick & roll play for Lebron James which led to an open 3-pointer for Ray Allen. The spacing by the Miami Heat made this very difficult to guard. The Spurs were forced to defend Lebron on the pick which led to Ray Allen's defender rotating down to help Lebron found him easily on the wing. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a set play that was run often by the Pitt Panthers over the course of this last college basketball season. This play starts off with a basic flex action and then develops into a back screen for a lob opportunity and then finishes with a screen the screener action to get an open three. This play is great because the ball is changing sides of the floor, you have action going to the basket and away from the basket, and also flows right out of transition. See More
