Favorite Send to FastDraw2 cuts off of a staggered screen from 5 and 4. 1 passes to 2 then cuts around the ball to the corner. 4 and 5 then set a second staggerd screen, this time for 3 in the corner. In the game, 4 slipped on the second screen and got a lay-up. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMichigan State used this play after a timeout and was looking to get a shot for 2 coming through the elevator screen. Instead, Valentine drove to the basket and finished with a lay-up. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw2 cuts off of a staggered screen from 3 and 5 while 4 moves down. 3 then uses the down-screen from 4. 1 can either pass to 2 who swings it to 5. If neither wing is open, 2 cuts off of a staggered screen on the left side. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw1 dribbles off of a high ball-screen from 4. As 1 is coming off of the screen, 5 ducks in looking for the quick post pass. If 5 isn't open, 1 passes to 4 on the pop. 4 passes to 2 and follows with a ball-screen. 2 drives middle and 5 ducks-in again. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLouisville used this play against Duke in the first half on Big Monday. 1 gives the ball to 2 on a dribble hand-off. 2 then dribbles middle as 3 cuts off of a screen from 4 and 5 to the opposite wing. 1 cuts off of a down-screen for a shot on the wing. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is an excellent play designed by Purdue Coach Matt Painter out of a Box Set. Purdue runs a pass entry into a UCLA screening action. With the opposite big popping to the TOK, the PG sets a shuffle cut and runs into a double stagger. On the pass to the TOK, the wing then runs baseline off a triple screen to the opposite side looking to make the defense chase. At the end, Purdue runs a "hamer screen" action off a guard-to-guard exchange and as a last option a SPNR into a shot behind the SPNR See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawPurude Coach Matt Painter does a good job with his offensive sets and here's a play which can be run as part of the Early Offense. Double Stagger action with an initial down screen action which could yield a quick pull-up in the middle of the lane. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCoach Turgeon of Maryland has a lot of different weapons this season and this is a nicely designed play to give a "stretch" 4 a chance to pick & pop behind the arc for a 3pt shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis years Maryland Terrapins have a veteran group and an impact transfer in Robert Carter. Here is a box set looking to take advantage of Carter's quickness and post-up skills. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGreat play to run if you have a PG that can score and the oppontnent doesn't like to switch 1 to 4. Great counter to 4 flat - flex action (Kansas runs flex a lot out of BLOB). See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawQuick Hitting action out of Horns. Butler is at one of the elbows and receives a down screen from the point guard for a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawTypically after Horns Smash is run, or if several plays for Butler at the elbow have been run the Bulls like to counter with this overplay backdoor set. Butler at the elbow takes one step toward Gasol/point guard and spins off his defender who is overplaying the pass. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA great counter out of the Spurs Motion Weak, utilizing Butler as the screener for the big down low. After the cross screen, which most of the time Butler's man will show or help on the cross screen, Butler then seals his man in the post. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a post entry and a designed hand off back to Butler from Gasol in the post for a shot or drive to the rim. The reason I beleive this is a professional set is because of the spacing the pros can play in and the skill to be able to hand off back to the player for a score. See More
