03/21/2024This is KU's go to play to overload and isolate a post player for a lay-up or dunk. The play begins in a diamond alignment and the 2 comes off the deep pindown by the 5. On 2's catch, the 4 sprints to set a fake ball screen to clear out the weak side help and pull his defender away from a potential double team. The guard then throws the lob pass over the top of the defense for a dunk or easy lay-in. The 3 and 1 must stay above the FT line to occupy the help defense on the weak side. See More
