This is a continuous shooting drill that allows our forwards to work on games shots and adds a conditioning element. Once completed on the right side immediately start on left. We like to have each player go through this drill two times then switch shooter. You can add time to increase intensity. We used the video below as inspiration to tailor the drill to our personnel.
Warrior Drill: Go Game Speed. Touch Cone After Each Shot.
1st Shot: Rim Run Lay-up
2nd Shot: Drop Step Baseline
After you finish all 5 shots immediately repeat on opposite side.
3rd Shot: Baseline Face Up to Middle Drive
4th Shot: Baseline Face Up Middle Drive to Spin Back
5th Shot: Catch & Shoot at High Post Area
