Favorite Send to FastDrawThe play starts with 3 guards out and the 2 posts inside on the blocks. 2 cuts down towards the low post then moves up the lane line to get the ball from 1. 3 clears to the opposite corner clearing space for a back-cut from 1. 5 sets the back-screen for 1 who looks to get the lob pass from 2. If the lob isn't open, 5 steps over to set a ball-screen at the top of the key. 2 attacks left to right with roll/replace action from 5 and 4. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this play, 4 starts at the elbow and 5 starts in the low post. 4 screens down for 5 who sprints straight into a ball-screen for 1 at the top of the key. As 1 dribbles from right to left, 5 rolls and 4 replaces 5. If 1 cannot get the ball into 5 on the roll, he looks at 4 for the hi/lo action. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a drill from Tom Izzo for working on your help defense. I like the way Coach Izzo lines up between the two lines and gives the help defender feedback as he teaches his help philosophy. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a series of drills that Coach Hurley uses at Saint Anthony to work on ball screen reads. It is a great example of how your skill work can build your offense. I like that Coach Hurley is creating good habits for his athletes while simultaneously developing their skills within the offense. This is a good concept to think about and use to develop drills that will create good habits within your offense. As we teach at PGC Basketball, "In moments of extreme pressure, athletes revert to their most deeply held habits." See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is an little adjustment to the UCLA to Ball Screen action that I posted earlier. Here we use the UCLA (rub cut) and allow the Post to reverse the ball to change the sides of the floor. You can get a nice ISO inside early on the reversal or you can wait for the jumper as the second option. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this play, Tyus Jones attacks from left to right off of a high ball-screen with an overload on the left side of the floor. The open space puts even more pressure on Kaminsky to stop the penetration and guard the roll. Jones came off of the ball-screen as if he was going to attack the rim, but instead pulled up at the elbow using Koenig's momentum against him. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this play, Grayson Allen runs the baseline as Plumlee sets a ball-screen for Tyus Jones. Jones takes the ball-screen into the middle of the floor as Plumlee rolls to the basket. In the game, Jones hit Plumlee on the roll and all 5 Wisconsin Badgers collapsed into the post. Allen cut up from the corner and was sitting wide open for a 3-point shot. See More
