Favorite Send to FastDrawSimplified version of power dribble shooting previously posted. Focuses on getting the ball out of the corners with a protected power dribble. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWithin the system that I have been evolving over time, I realized the importance to have strong post action but also to have variation in what occurs off the post catch. We teach this action in various levels from U12s in Country Victoria through to our Junior National teams. With this idea, we now teach two actions relative to where the ball is caught, which i term "post zone". the catch being In the post zone or out of the post zone. In all of our teaching we have a strong emphasis of if it is 1 v 1 its on you to score, if you see 2 you must pass the ball, this is the same for our post players and a reason for having multiple cutters off the weakside. Australian basketball has followed the late clock philosophy of Europe with late penetration, out of post play we like to finish with either on balls on the seem or middle on ball, depending what post zone the ball was caught in. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play starts close to a 1-4 high set but 1 pushes 2 to the corner as he dribbles to the right wing. 4 steps out to get the ball and then swings it to 3. 5 sets a shuffle screen for 1 and then 5 and 4 set a staggered screen for 2 in the corner. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is that Iverson/flare cut type action with 2 running across the floor from the left wing to the right. If 2 isn't open, they run a cross-screen/down-screen action for 3. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLatvia likes to run cutters off of an Iverson/Flare cut type action from one wing to the other. In this set, they run 2 from the top of the key out to the wing and screen across for 5. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere are our Dribble Drive Motion "Initial Movement & Receiver Spots" that we use at Southern Peninsula, which is all based on Vance Walberg's AASAA or DDM. We use a few different tweaks in our DDM, as we like to have two (2) weak-side shooters as often as possible, and our post movement is also slightly different to that of the original DDM. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play, taken from a set we saw from Coach Hoiberg when he was at Iowa State, starts with the point guard pushing the wing into a back-screen for the trailing post. After setting the screen, 3 steps out for a ball-screen and looks to drive with a pick and roll/replace option. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawFast-paced, dynamic drill using the Dr. Dish for your whole team or a small group. Emphasizes the power dribble action into a dribble handoff into a 1 dribble pull up. Multiple angles of attack, multiple shots at a time! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe baseline drift action is phenomenal and one of the hardest actions to guard. Train multiple game-speed actions such as pass/cut, post shift, dribble drive, one-hand passing, etc. Great drill to compete with, as well! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawPin & Skip is a great action to use against sagging man defenders and zone defense. Use the Dr. Dish as the low defender and skip the ball to a wide open shooter. Plenty of variations to keep the drill fresh and train multiple actions. Can use with a small group or your whole team. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawTrain multiple actions, including post feeds, duck-ins, laker cuts, passes out of the post, and of course - making shots! Players will get two shots at a time in two different locations. Can be used with a small group or your entire team. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUse this drill to train all your players to make decisions in the lane. Everyone is a post player based on their location on the court, not necessarily their position. This drill trains cutters and post players alike to react to dribble penetration and knock down shots. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawRead and React Circle Movement using the Dr. Dish. Anywhere from 4 players to your entire team can use this drill to simulate game like conditions and drill habits without the hassle and chaos of rebounding multiple balls. Great if you have limited space, time, or just want something different. See More
