About This Play/Drill

2v2 advantage drill to teach the relocation reads from the PORCH (dunk spot) within the QUAD offense

  • Basketball Play - 2v2 Relocate ("Dunk Spot Drill")
  • Basketball Play - 2v2 Relocate ("Dunk Spot Drill")
  • Basketball Play - 2v2 Relocate ("Dunk Spot Drill")
  • Basketball Play - 2v2 Relocate ("Dunk Spot Drill")
  • COACH stands behind Player 1 (guard). Defender (X1) faces COACH. COACH flashes inside hand and x1 must slap coach's hand.

     

    This gives the lane drive read. X5 helps over (shows chest) and 5 (post) cuts to the clean up spot.

     

    Player 1 makes assist to 5

  • COACH stands behind Player 1 (guard). Defender (X1) faces COACH. COACH flashes inside hand and x1 must slap coach's hand.

     

    This gives the lane drive read. X5 does not help over. 5 (post) cuts to the clean up spot ready to rebound.

     

    1 keeps x1 on body (KOB) and scores.

     

    NOTE: DO NOT get shot blocked and do not miss short!

  • COACH stands behind Player 1 (guard). Defender (X1) faces COACH. COACH flashes outside hand and x1 must slap coach's hand.

     

    This gives the middle drive read. When being dribbled at 5 must relocate to the opposite clean up spot to enlarge the defense.

     

    X5 helps (shows chest) and Player 1 makes assist to Player 5.
