About Theresa Grentz

Theresa Shank Grentz is a member of the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, who served as the US Olympic head coach in 1992. Over the course of thirty-three years, she worked as the head women’s basketball coach for the University of Illinois, Rutgers University, and St. Joseph’s University.

She got her start playing for the Immaculata Mighty Macs, and led the team to three AIAW National Championships between 1972 and 1974.
