Basketball Play - Sprint Iso Ball Screen

Sprint Iso Ball Screen

Luke Riegel 10/23/2012

This is a quick and easy set to run, yet it provides several scoring opportunities for the offense. If you have a talented PG that likes to play off ballscreens, this is a great set for him. The flare screen on the weak-side limits the defense's opportunity to help on the ballscreen and spaces the floor offensively. See More

Basketball Play - Army

Army

Rory Hamilton 06/25/2023

Initial Set-up: 3 out 2 in with posts at the blocks and guards on the wings. Play is initiated with a pass either wing, but often times it works best when you go away from your best jumping guard. On the pass to the wing, the weak side post (4) flashes to top of the key for the catch. The (1) and (3) space away to wing and corner. The (2) takes a couple of dribbles to shorten the pass to the (4) On the catch by the (4), the (5) sets a flare screen for the (2) and looks to slip the screen to the high post FT line. On the catch the 5 immediate looks to shoot, lob at the rim for the (3) or the (1) spacing away for the 3pt shot. See More

Basketball Play - Monaco - Horns Twist Zoom PNR

Monaco - Horns Twist Zoom PNR

Stavros Evgeniadis 01/11/2023

A very simple but effective action from Monaco against Olympiacos for Round 18 of Euroleague. Horns twist to a zoom action. Olympiacos chooses to play top-lock (denying the zoom) but Mike James sets a step up PNR with Okobo to confuse the defense and create the space to receive the ball. The play ends with a top PNR between James (2) and Makumbu as (5). Video clip below. See More
