Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Florida Gators ran this pick & roll in their win over South Carolina on Tuesday night. Coach Donovan really stresses the importance of timing in his offense and drills it on a daily basis; the timing on this play was flawless. As 1 (Wilbekin) came off the 2nd pick from 5 (Young), the roll was so open because Florida’s Frazier (3) was on a shooting tear and X3 did not help into the lane enough on Young. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawRick Byrd is a master tactician as evident by the number and variety of sets he runs with the Belmont Bruins. The Bruins are also one of the most sound fundamental teams in America. This Drag Screen out of Transition is run perfectly setting up a Hi / Lo at the end with the Post Man working in a 4 Out 1 In look. The Bruins utitlize the G-G screen as an option to bring Bradshaw into a possible 3 pt shooting position. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDave Rose is one of the most respected Coach's in Division I today and has made BYU a yearly threat to reach the NCAA Tournament. This play was run effectively at the start of the game as they get their 5 man Mika touches inside. What makes this play so effective is the cut by Haws as if he curls over the top of the 5 man, x5 is forced to step off and help as there is no weak side defensive help on the open side. The Cougars are also such a deadly outside shooting team with Haws who is the leading scorer in the WCC and 3rd in the nation. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play creates an open three for a good shooting post player. The screen-the-screener action occupies 4's defender, allowing 2 to set a good screen on him to free 4. 4 must be ready to catch and shoot quickly. Secondary action is a quick 2-5 cross screen for a post feed. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play the Chicago Bulls ran over the weekend versus the 76ers is a very popular one run in the NBA by multiple teams. Frame 1 is the action that the Bulls ran. However, if you have a shooting 4 or decide to UCLA screen with a big instead of a guard, Frame 2 (OPTION 2) is a great tweak to get another scoring option for one of your shooters. Furthermore, with an explosive point guard like Rose, you can also choose to dribble 2 up and have 2 Hawk cut off the post to get your point guard using the side pick & roll instead. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDiamond set run by Croatia in their third place game loss to Spain in Eurobasket. The diamond is versitile set. This option is great for a shooting big. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBob McKillop and the Davidson Men's Basketball Team run this as one option in their 4-out motion offense as a quick option out of transition. This play has the featured action of a downscreen for the big man, whom McKillop has featured frequently as a good shooter over the past few seasons. If there is a stretch shooting big man on your team, this is a nice set to get him coming off a downscreen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's Play of the Day is a transition option from Fred Hoiberg and the Iowa State Cyclones for a stretch shooting big man. Hoiberg ran this set coming out of transition for his forward Georges Niang, particularly against Kansas and Jef Withey, who was exceptionally poor at defending on the perimeter. This action fits well into Hoiberg's overall motion offense, which is strongly perimeter-based. His general pattern of offense has been dubbed basketball's version of the "Spread Offense". See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCenter Trip DHO is a play used by Mike Woodson and the New York Knicks to get either Raymond Felton attacking the rim or Tyson Chandler open on a lob. The Knicks use the extra attention given by defenses to Carmelo Anthony as a decoy, and the valuable shooting skills of J.R. Smith and Steve Novak as an opportunity to space the floor on one side of the court. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawKevin Stallings and Vanderbilt have run this play for a few seasons, most notably with Festus Ezeli during the 2011-2012 season. As a four guard set it opens up the lane for a screening big man to slip to the rim and for guards to get many good shooting looks. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawFence Curl Pop comes from Rick Adelman, which he has run both in Sacramento and with the Minnesota Wolves. Adelman usually calls this play out of timeouts when he sees something in the way the defense is playing screening actions. The play is designed to get a layup for a shooting guard or an open elbow jumper for a power forward. When Kevin Love runs this play for the Wolves he steps out to the three point line, making this an extremely difficult play to defend. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother example of the Miami Heat using a dribble handoff to enter their offense and then running a player off two screens in an iverson action. To end the action #3 Dwayne Wade gets two ball screens a slip screen from the shooting 4 man, and then a ball screen from #1 Chris Bosh. See More
