We run this for 10 minutes with half of the team on each end of the court, starting on the right side. We do 1:30 shot fake and drive, 1:30 shot fake-escape dribble jumper, and 2:00 catch and shoot. Then we switch ENDS (they are now all on the left side of court) and work back down. 2:00 catch and shoot, 1:30 shot fake-escape dribble jumper, 1:30 shot fake and drive. We stress ball fakes before the pass, jump stop finishes, great closeouts, shot fakes, and covering ground with our dribble. We choose 2 different spots to start from each day to change the spots we shoot from and the passing and driving angles, but the drill stays the same. See More

BASELINE DRIFT - 1 man sweeps the ball below his knees and drives to the basket - 2 man simulates his man helping on the drive and drifts to the baseline - 1 comes to a jump stop and passes to 2 for with his baseline hand for the shot (NOTE: 2 man, don't sprint to the corner. Stay in your stance and slide to the corner) CRACK BACK - 1 man sweeps the ball below his knees and drives to the basket - 2 man simulates his man helping on the drive and drifts to the wing - 1 comes to a jump stop, reverse pivots with his 1/2 court foot, and passes to 2 for the shot (NOTE: 2 man, don't sprint to the wing. Stay in your stance and slide to the wing) WAKE - 1 man sweeps the ball below his knees and drives to the basket - 2 man simulates his man helping on the drive and drifts to the wake - 1 comes to a jump stop, and passes with his 1/2 court hand to 2 for the shot (NOTE: 2 man, don't sprint to the wake. Player 1 starts from underneath the rim. Sprints to top of the key for a pass from Coach 1. Shoots 3pt shot Player 1 then cuts down the lane. Player 2 passes to Player 1 for a layup.
