1-4 High Attack
07/01/2024During my time at Lutheran Westland High School, I ran a lot of 1-4 action. Our best shooter was our 3 and we used 1-4 High and low to free him. This 1-4 high set allowed for us give our 3 multiple options. After the 3 gets the DHO, options are to dive to the basket or kick the ball to the 4 in the ball side corner or the 1 or 2, depending on where the help comes from. See More

05/23/2024The Boston Celtics ran this crucial baseline out of bounds play down 3 with 8.5 seconds left in the game, and were able to make the shot that sent the game to overtime. They were looking for a corner 3-point shot for either Jaylen Brown (3) or Jayson Tatum (4) off of identical actions on either side of the floor. 1 and 5 lifted to the elbow area and then set screens for 3 & 4 as they curled around them back to the corner.
