Basketball Play - Miami Heat - Iso Elevator BLOB

Miami Heat - Iso Elevator BLOB

Garrett Hickey 03/01/2021

This is a great BLOB run by the Miami heat. It give 3 great options throughout the action. 1 is the guy being back screened, 2 is the pass rip through to the player iverson cutting, 3 is the player coming off the elevator screen. i use this with my high school and AAU teams and it is a great way to get an easy bucket. You can also use this in a late clock situation and have the 2 set the back screen then fly through the elevator for a quick shot or curl to the rim. Basketball Play - UCLA Bruins - Iverson Wiper

UCLA Bruins - Iverson Wiper

Zachary Weir 11/12/2020

UCLA runs a nice quick hitting misdirection set to get one their best offensive players a shot. They use an Iverson cut by the point guard followed by a quick drive and a wiper screen by the big with Kyman coming back to the ball. Jake Kyman produced a 1.07 PPP which was the leader on his team in the 19-20 season, which put him in the 93% percentile overall according to Synergy. #Top25XsOs: Honorable Mention Teams | Teams 25-21 | Teams 20-16 | Teams 15-11 | Teams 10-6 | Teams 5-1 *New customers use discount code SAVE10 at purchase* See More

Basketball Play - Las Vegas Aces - Pinch Post Series | Chicago

Las Vegas Aces - Pinch Post Series | Chicago

Aseem Rastogi 04/17/2019

Perhaps their most effective action, Chicago is taken straight from the Triangle offense to get a dynamic offensive player getting straight to the rim with space. In this case, that dynamic player is Kayla McBride, who is one of the premier scorers in the world. Statistically speaking, McBride ranks in the top 20 in the following categories: Points per game (8th - 18.2) Assists (17th - 3.5) FT% (91.7) 3P% (12th - 39.3%) Minutes (7th - 32.3) With a player as explosive as McBride, The Aces play at a constant advantage when she is moving downhill or coming off screens. Utilizing the Chicago action allows her to do both - come off a lateral screen from a post player and to take a handoff from another with space to her right (strong hand) to attack the rim. On occasion, McBride or Tamera Young will reject the Chicago screen, which can lead to either a double stagger for them toward the rim or the screener popping, making a one more pass to the corner player for a shot/drive decision on the closing defender. Finally, the Aces run a quick hitter to get into this same action, disguising the entry with an Iverson Cut by McBride, a pindown for Wilson, and finally the Chicago action. By running this "false" action prior to the action they actually want, they add an element of confusion for the defense, who now must contend with multiple screens prior to the scouted screens. Basketball Play - Kansas State Wildcats - Iverson Flex

Kansas State Wildcats - Iverson Flex

Matt Wheeler 03/23/2019

Kansas State ran this play early in their first round game against UC Irvine to get the ball back to their point guard to make a play. 4 makes the Iverson cut over 3 & 5.. This puts 4 in the corner and sets him up for the next cut to the basket. It also puts the ball in 3's hands so he can make the decision with the ball. Once 3 gets the ball, 4 cuts to the basket off the flex screen from 1. 1 then cuts off the pindowns screen from 5 to receive the pass from 3 for the shot. See More

Florida State Seminoles - Horns Iverson Lob

Matt Wheeler 03/22/2019

Florida State ran this after timeout play to look for a lob dunk in the first half of their NCAA tournament game against Vermont. The play was designed for 3 to make an Iverson cut over 4 & 5 but he rejected the screen and still caught the ball on the wing. 4 cuts to the corner to take away a help defender on the lob as 2 sets the back screen for 5. #FastModelMadness NCAA Tournament: Viewing Guide by Style of Play See More

Basketball Play - Louisville Cardinals - Iverson Backdoor ATO

Louisville Cardinals - Iverson Backdoor ATO

Dustin Cooper 02/13/2019

Quick Hitter from Coach Chris Mack. This was a staple in his ATO playbook at Xavier and he has continued to utilize it at Louisville. Starts with a 1-4 high setup and then a Iverson cut. Timing is key to making this work! Coach Mack likes to use Ryan McMahon as the cutter because of his ability to shoot the ball - the defenders arent expecting him to make a cut towards the paint. Basketball Play - Ohio State Buckeyes - Loop Duck In

Ohio State Buckeyes - Loop Duck In

Dustin Cooper 01/11/2019

Loop cuts - also known as Iverson cuts - are a great way to shift a defense. Creating a shift followed by a counter flow can often lead to an open look. This set will almost always get you a low post catch when needed. In the video below, the ball is fed into the post from the slot. in MOST scenarios, I like the ball reversed to the lift which creates a much better angle for a post feed. See More
