Favorite Send to FastDrawBLOB out of a box set Teaching points: 5 must get wide to set arc screen for 2 3 must time their cut with the entry. Don't cut too soon! 4 sets pin screen for inbounder then looks to bury their man and posts up Team is set to run offense on entry...no "set it up" needed. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawI recently worked the NBPA Top 100 camp and got this play from one of the coaches in attendance. It is a fabulous action that leads to multiple scoring options throughout the set. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this drill, there are 3 lines (1 with guards, 1 with wings, and 1 with post players). A coach starts with the ball on the opposite wing. In option 1, the drill starts with G passing to W and then G cuts through to the opposite corner. P steps out to set a ball-screen for W. W drives into the lane and hits P on the roll. The coach passes to the G in the corner and the post player on the baseline passes to W. The drill ends with all 3 players getting a shot. In option 2, it starts the same except that W will pass to G in the corner, coach will pass to W, and the post player on the baseline will pass to the post rolling off of the screen to the short corner. Favorite Send to FastDraw1 dribbles off of the high ball-screen from 4 towards the right side of the floor. 3 moves in to the low post. If 1 doesn't have anything going right, he turns and comes left off of a ball-screen from 4. At the same time, 5 screens down for 3. 1 can look to shoot, drive to the rim, pass to 3 for a shot, or pass to 5 slipping to the rim. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw1 passes to 2 on the wing then cuts through to the opposite corner. 2 looks to pass inside to 5 right away. Once 5 has the ball, 4 screens for 1 in the corner and 3 fills across the floor to the opposite wing. 5 looks to score or can pass out to 1. If 1 gets the ball without a shot, 5 steps out to set a ball-screen. 1 drives towards the baseline as 5 rolls and 4 replaces 5. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this play, the point guard dribbles down the right side of the floor as 2 cuts in to set a cross-screen for 5. At the same time, 4 sets a down-screen for 2. 1 looks to pass to 5 inside or to 2 for a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diamond set, the cutter can choose which pin screen they want to use. The player at the top of the diamond exits opposite the cutter. Screening post then sets a cross screen for the other post. That player goes into an underneath ball screen with a wing spotted up in the opposite corner. Favorite Send to FastDraw4 sets a down-screen for 5 at the block. If 5 isn't open on the initial cut, both 4 and 5 sprint up to set the ball-screen options for 1 at the top of the key. 1 chooses which screen to use and looks to turn the corner. Whichever screen is used, that player will roll and the opposite screener will pop for a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw1 passes to 5 at the high post then cuts off of a back-screen from 4 into the lane. If 1 isn't open, 1, 2, and 3 clear to the left side of the floor. 4 sets a ball-screen for 5 giving 5 the entire right side of the floor to take his man to the basket. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this play, 1 dribbles right to left off of a staggered ball-screen from 5 and 4. Curry starts in the corner (2) and cuts off of a cross-screen from 3 in the lane. 1 passes to 4 rolling to the elbow or to Curry in the corner for a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis "wheel" play is a set I got from scouting an opponent a few seasons ago. Stagger screens and screen for the screener action can be difficult to guard, especially if you have guys who can shoot well from outside. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBLOB set that can be effective and difficult to guard with multiple staggered screens. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawEnd of game BLOB by UCLA 2 fakes as if setting the Up Screen for 4 then slips into a cut off 5's screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw2 screens across the lane for 3. 4 screens for 5 who cuts to the corner. If neither option is open, 5 screens down for 2. 1 looks to make the pass to 2 for a shot at the top of the key. Once 2 has the ball, he looks for a shot or to pass inside to 5 posting up. See More
