05/30/2013Play shown by Jeff Van Gundy. He got this from Scott Skiles who ran it with the Bulls with Ben Gordan as the 2. Instead of going 1-4 low at the end of quarters the down screen would start at 7 seconds. Depending on the coverage 2 can pull up for a jump shot or drive for a finish at the rim. 2 can drive and kick to 1. 4 and 5 can roll and replace. 5 can pop and 2 can use the throwback pass. 2 can also pass to 4 if 4's defender helps on the drive. 05/29/2013Incredible set by Coach Spo. Has a great floor spacing lineup with 4 shooters plus LeBron. This action has everyone moving and because of their offesnive game they all have to be guarded. This allows LeBron to get open on the left side lane extended. He then can drive an kick to anyone on the floor but he takes advantage of his spacing to score a layup. Duncan set a great screen to free Manu up, but Leonard was unable to make the pass. Duncan flashed to the ball and shot a contested three but if Leonard hit Manu, Manu would have had great momentum driving to the hoop for the game winner. See More

The sports world and social media are a buzz about this play mostly because of Hibbert sitting out and George over playing. But let's give credit to Eric Spoelstra. He ran this same exact play at the end of the 4th quarter to get Ray Allen a game winning 3-pointer that came up short.
