Slob Zipper Again
08/01/2013Set a simple pindown on the weakside to get a shooter a shot from a SLOB. 4 waits until 1 catches, then pins 2. With the weakside triangle set there is a strong side two man game. After 2 catches, 4 can set a step up screen. See More

07/31/2013Zipper screen to a ball screen from the sideline. Simple play that allows your players to make reads. 4 and 5 can roll and replace. 1 can finish at the rim. Hit 5 on the roll. 4 on the replace for a shot or hi-low with 5. If any weakside help pulls in, 1 can pass out for an open perimeter jump shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMiami Late Diamond SLOB
07/18/2013This is the set the Miami Heat ran in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs. I thought from watching it the lob was open and the 3 which #6 LeBron James missed were both open. A great job of executing by the Miami Heat. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMiami BLOB Step Back
07/11/2013The Miami Heat realized the San Antonio Spurs were sitting on certain baseline out of bounds plays after playing them 7 straight times and decided to throw a different wrinkle at them. Instead of the 4 & 5 setting a double screen for 1 or 3, #1 Chris Bosh set a back screen for the 4 man who dove right to the rim. #1 Bosh's man protects against the cut allowing #1 Bosh to pop for a wide open jumper. Favorite Send to FastDrawSpurs SLOB Zipper Ball Screen
07/06/2013The Spurs do a great job of ball screening right on the catch of somebody who just ran off a screen. On this specific SLOB #20 Manu Ginobili runs off a zipper screen and then gets ball screened in the middle of the floor. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSpurs SLOB Pin Down DH
07/06/2013The Spurs ran this play a lot to get #20 Manu Ginobili coming hard to get a dribble handoff. The pin down screen created some problems for opposing defenses and led to an open look for #21 Tim Duncan after giving Ginobili the handoff. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSpurs SLOB High Post Follow
07/05/2013My favorite San Antonio Spurs SLOB and the one that the Miami Heat had the most difficulty defending in the NBA Finals. #9 Tony Parker did a great job of curling right around #21 Tim Duncan after passing him the ball for lay-ups. Duncan's defender was scared to help too much to give up an elbow jumper or drive, it led to two #9 Tony Parker lay-ups. See More

07/05/2013A common San Antonio Spurs SLOB which didn't translate into many points against the Miami Heat. But the amount they ran it made me think they must have had good success with this action during the season. They utilized these back screens to get #21 Tim Duncan a post iso. The only hoop they got on this action against Miami was a #2 Kawhi Leonard 3 from the top of the key. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSpurs BLOB Screen The Screener
07/01/2013Here is the most common BLOB ran by the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals vs the Miami Heat. They did a great job of getting #9 Tony Parker a mid range catch. After catching #21 Tim Duncan could come over and ball screen in a great screening area if Parker didn't have a shot. See More

06/30/2013The Spurs ran this SLOB at 6:50 of Q3 in game 7. There were six seconds on the shot clock at this point. The Spurs had great spacing for the middle pick and roll with Duncan and Manu. Duncan had a good look at an extended layup but Wade made a great contest on the shot, pulling in from the corner off the ice cold Green. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHeat SLOB Elbow Catches
06/26/2013The Miami Heat do a fantastic job of getting the ball to the elbow in pressure/clutch situations. Here are two plays the Heat ran against the Indiana Pacers in the ECF from the Sideline out of bounds to get elbow catches. One entry turns into their most successful play the FT Line Back Screen two man game between Wade & Bosh with Lebron having the ball. The other set was how Miami won G1 as Lebron had an isolation from the elbow. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHand Off - Lob
06/21/2013This play starts with a hand off from 1 to 2. 1 cuts through to left corner and 2 uses quick on ball screen from 4. First look is to 1 coming off 5's baseline screen and two is a back screen lob for 4. Give it a try! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawPacer Late Clock SLOB
06/18/2013Although this set didn't result in a basket or even free throws it forced a great defensive effort from the Miami Heat to stop the Pacers from scoring. This action puts a lot of pressure on the defense as they have to guard a mis direction cut by the 2, then the stagger iverson action for #24 Paul George who everyone thinks the play is going to, a flare screen for #21 David West, and then finally a slip/dive to the rim by #55 Roy Hibbert. This set had some fantastic actions. See More
