Favorite Send to FastDrawNice set out of Horns to get Harrison Barnes in the Pick & Roll, putting both bigs in Pick & Roll defense. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawKlay Thompson and Steph Curry running a Pick & Roll together seems unfair. But it is precisely what Steve Kerr loves to do in this creative set out of a zipper cut. This set can have Klay come off looking for a shot off the pindown, setting a ballscreen or slipping the ballscreen for a 3 and Curry attacks out of all of it. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGolden State Warriors run alot of their sets in the flow of their offense based on reads. They run double stagger, one down and flex actions out of their base offense that end up in Horns. This set is a wrinkle out of the base motion that is designed to get Draymond Green cutting to the rim for a layup. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawI am sure I have posted this play in the past but it is one of my favorites so I wanted to post it again! The Golden State Warriors went to this action in the 1st Half of Game 4 versus the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Semi-Finals. This elbow set into a flex action is very popular in the NBA; Stan Van Gundy ran it religiously in Orlando. While us coaches are all very familiar with the Flex, I have learned recently that many young players today are not familiar with how to run the play NOR guard it. In my opinion, if you have two great scorers on the floor, this is a very difficult action to guard. The defense has to respect the flex cut give up a lay-up. Then by pinning down on the screener, the defense must make a decision how to guard and if they over-react the big will be open slipping to the rim. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDespite their recent woes, the Golden State Warriors still rank as a top 10 offensive team in basketball, which is impressive given the amount of time they have spent without center Andrew Bogut this season. Bogut is a versatile offensive option that can score on the block and facilitate from the post or the elbow, which makes for some great offensive chemistry with David Lee, Golden State's other multi-skilled big man. The Warriors can also use Bogut as a way to create offense for their potent guards - Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Here is an example of the Warriors putting Bogut on the block and using weakside action, as well as Bogut's nifty passing touch, to get a good open look for Thompson at the free throw line. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAn elbow action to get your 1 the ball on an open side. The end of the play can be changed based on players ability. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMemphis opened up an NBA Playoff game vs Golden State with this. Looks like it's for the shooters. Attention goes to the 2 on the last stagger but actually allows Jaren Jackson to get a deep post up. Check out the video below for a more detailed breakdown of the set! Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Houston Rockets were down 5 with 24.4 seconds left in game 1 against the Golden State Warriors. They needed at least two scores to tie the game so they needed to get a quick basket and then foul to extend the game. This play worked very well against the Warriors strategy of switching all screens. James Harden (2) started the play as a decoy, setting the second screen for Eric Gordon (3). The Warriors switched off of Harden on the screen to take away an open three from Gordon. Harden then flashed to the ball to receive the pass from 5 and quickly attack the basket. Favorite Send to FastDrawSpecial SLOB play that coach Erik Spoelstra ran as an ATO vs Golden State. Out of a line formation at the elbow, 3 curls around 4 and 5 (stack) and clears to weak side corner. At the same time, 2 curls around the stack and gets the ball at the top as 1 steps into wing area. 5 turns and sets a a fake screen for 3 to come off, then slips and cuts to basket to receive a lob pass from 2. Timing and misidirection is crucial. #FastDrawArt See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe LA Lakers opened their game against the Golden State Warriors with this lob play for Larry Nance Jr. (4). 5 sets a down screen for 4 who sprints into a ball screen with 1. 5 turns around and sets a second screen for 1. 1 then throws the lob pass to 4 at the rim. 3 and 2 exchange on the weak side to occupy their defenders. After passing to 4, 1 follows his pass and 4 fakes the hanoff for a "keep" action. As attacks to the baseline, 5 sets a weakside flare screen for 2. 2 drifts to the corner for a shot. See More
