Here is a quick hitter that Kentucky coach John Calipari often runs out of ATO situations. The Wildcats ran it to open the Champions Classic game vs Duke in the video below.
On the FMS Blog: Gap Creating Cuts to Enhance Your Offense
- 1 hits the 4 man in Horns Set up
- 1 cuts off of 4 for fake DHO while 5 is pinning down for 3 to get ball reversal
- 1 and 4 stagger away after the reversal. 2 curls off of first guy in stagger
- 4 continues on to pin down for 1
- If 1 does not have a shot the 4 pins in for 2. This is also a great time to get a throwback action into the post.
