About This Play/Drill

South Dakota State ran this play out of a timeout to get a layup off of a handoff early in their game against Ohio State. 1 started the play by giving a dribble handoff to 4 and then cut to the corner. 2 slid up to the wing to prepare for the handoff. 4 follows his pass to 5 to look for a handoff. 2 gets the step on his defender, cutting across 5 for the handoff. As 2 drives to the basket 3 stays in the corner for spacing. x3 ends up having to provide help on the play but was too late as 2 got to the rim for a layup.
