Basketball Play - 54 Double ATO

54 Double ATO

Dymetrius Ware 02/13/2019

54 Double is a play out of a modified Horns set. The 4 and 5 end up setting two consecutive stagger screens (the first being a ball screen, second a traditional stagger screen for 3 to come off). Great set to get a 3pt look. Playbook: 50 ATO Quick Hitters See More

Basketball Play - Clear - Ball Screen Reject ATO

Clear - Ball Screen Reject ATO

Dustin Cooper 12/13/2018

Rejecting ball screens is a creative way to get your players to drive downhill. I like to use this set after a timeout after seeing how a team is defending ball screens. The more times a team has seen ball screens, the more likely they are to get caught cheating the screen allowing your player to reject the screen and get to the rim. See More

Basketball Play - San Diego State Aztecs - Over Curl Chase

San Diego State Aztecs - Over Curl Chase

Dave Nedbalek 11/27/2018

This is a great set utilizing components of Coach Beilein's two-guard offense. The down screen from 1 to 2 has multiple options: 2 could reject the screen, use and send 1 backdoor, or the way it's run here with 2 tight curling and 1 popping back out. Check out the video below. Side note: a great counter would be after 1 popping out, to then go hard backdoor on the heels of 2's cut. FMS Blog: Maui Invitational - Top 10 Plays See More

Basketball Play - SSG: PNR React Drill

SSG: PNR React Drill

Zachary Weir 10/08/2018

A great drill that combines ball screen reads with a SSG. The offense is put into different ball screen situations all over the court and given an advantage. The goal of the offense is to use the ball screen, find the advantage quickly and score. The fiirst progression is that the offense will get one ball screen and one oppurtunity to score. Progressions: 1. Add the missing defender after a set amount of time. (7 seconds) and play it live. 2. Change PnR coverage to work on all situations. (Soft hedge, Blitz, Switch, Hard Hedge, etc..)
