Favorite Send to FastDrawThis set was used by Central Georgia Tech Community College. Our team this season played a lot of 2-3 zone defensively and they were able to get some high percentage shots against us. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play is designed for an undersized team. Took this from a scout on a non-conference opponent that was in the NJCAA top 10 in the country in points per game this past season. Our opponent played a fast-paced game similar to Iona in the past years. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA very simple Post Isolation into Cross Screen/Down Screen set play. A widely used action, but difficult to guard because it includes a pair of ball reversals, a couple of post isolations, and forces difficult decision-making by defenders who get caught up in quick screens. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAn easy way to get 2-3 ball reversals as well as an opportunity to cut across the defender's face (Face Cuts) for lay-up opportunities. This play loosens up the defense and provides multiple ways to score the ball. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play can be used in the Half-Court or as a Secondary Break. It gets the ball moving and provides three different ways to score. Dean Smith and John Beilein have had a lot of success using this set and its variations. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe 2013 NCAA National Champion Louisville Cardinals ran this play a ton throughout their NCAA Tournament run. They utilized #10 Gorgui Dieng's ability to be mobile and make open mid-range jumpers in every single round in the NCAA Tournament. After running a ball screen at the top of the key and throwing the ball back to the 4 man. #3 Peyton Siva would come down in the middle of the lane and set the down screen for #10 Dieng. As this was happening #11 Luke Hancock the Louisville 3 man would move into position to set a baseline screen for #10 Dieng. He now had the option based on the opponent's defense to come off the Gut screen from #3 Siva or the baseline screen set by #11 Hancock. In most cases he came off the gut screen and hit an elbow jumper. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play set comes from the 2013 Nike Hoop Summit between Team USA and Team World which took place at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon. The World team ran this set a few times getting baskets multiple times. It allows your play makers (In their case the wings) the ability to read the defense, run off a screen in whichever direction they chose and then have a chance to attack the basket with their defender trailing them. If the defender catches up, then you have a side ball screen option. A very simple & easy set that Team World ran very well. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAlthough this set didn't result in a basket or even free throws it forced a great defensive effort from the Miami Heat to stop the Pacers from scoring. This action puts a lot of pressure on the defense as they have to guard a mis direction cut by the 2, then the stagger iverson action for #24 Paul George who everyone thinks the play is going to, a flare screen for #21 David West, and then finally a slip/dive to the rim by #55 Roy Hibbert. This set had some fantastic actions. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Indiana Pacers ran this set a few times in the ECF against the Miami Heat. They utilized mis-direction against an aggressive Heat defense to keep Miami on their toes. Following the UCLA screen and flex screen the 1 man then turns right back around to get the 3, letting #24 Paul George run off a stagger screen. This brought the 1 off a down screen and gave him the ball back in a better scoring area for him to create. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Pacers ran this set in a late clock situation right before the end of the First Half in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals vs the Miami Heat. #21 David West with a textbook example of ducking in, sealing a defender. This play didn't result in a basket as West missed an open lay-up. But the job he does of going along the baseline, then coming back towards the rim sealing they switching defender was tremendous. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Indiana Pacers run a lot of zipper screens to free up #24 Paul George. Here they sent #55 Roy Hibbert up immediatly on the catch to set a ball screen for George while clearing out the left side of the floor. I think the key to this action is #21 David West the Pacer's 4 man moving to the short corner. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this set the Indiana Pacers ran #24 Paul George off a zipper screen to create seperation before getting a ball screen from #55 Roy Hibbert. On the ball screen #21 David West rolls up for a roll & replace action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Indiana Pacers love the zipper action to free up #24 Paul George here after he catches the ball #55 Roy Hibbert comes to set the ball screen. They run multiple actions and ball screen spacing out of this zipper set. Here Indiana throws a different look at the Miami Heat and #55 Hibbert slips the screen right to the rim. See More
