Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is an awesome drill for stations during practice. Players are working on coming off a guarded player and getting to help position and stopping the ball. If the offense gets a shot off, defense must get back and box out the offensive player coming from the weak side (original matchup). See full instructions below. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a 3v3 Rebounding drill that can be used for both sides of the basketball. Split your team into groups of three or four. The rotation for the drill is to enter on defense, then move to offense, and finally (if unsuccessful) out of the drill. If your team secures an offensive rebound they get to stay on offense and continue to earn points. If your team gives up an offensive rebound then your team exits the drill and a new team comes on. The Scoring System: 1 Point for a Defensive Rebound, 3 Points for an Offensive Rebound, and 2 or 3 points if you can score it off the Offensive Rebound. Each new possession must start with one of the two scenarios depicted below. Coaches then set the number or time they want to play until. The team with the highest score wins, the other teams get conditioning. Blog Posts: Crash the Glass: Making a Case for Offensive Rebounding Developing a Rebounding System See More

Favorite Send to FastDraw50 passes is a competitive team drill that focuses on ball toughness, passing, screening and communication. The goal of 50 passes is to be the first team to successfully complete 50 passes without getting the ball deflected and having the passer say the name of the person they are passing to. Eliminating dribbles after the first pass increases the pressure that the defense can put on the offense, making it more difficult to complete the passes. Requiring the passer to say the name of the receiver helps to build good communication habits while under duress. Favorite Send to FastDrawTransition shooting series is a full court shooting drill. The drill works on rhythm full speed shooting in transition, passing in transition, and conditioning players to communicate in a chaotic transition situation. This is a great conditioner and competition drill as well, as players on the two sides compete against each other for a total amount of makes. Shoot, get your own rebound (before it bounces or only one bounce), make a good pass to next shooter sprint to opposite end. Passer must call next shooter's name, next shooter must call for ball when s/he wants the ball. Have players shoot on both sides of the floor and set a goal/pace for your team. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAngle 3v3 Advantage/Disadvantage 3v3 putting the offense in a position to make a quick decision out of drive and kick while making the defense provide great helpside defense to contain the offense. Description: Player 1 starts the drill once they make their movement downhill. Player x1 can't move to try and recover until player 1 starts their movement. Rules: Player 1 has to attempt to get downhill through the elbow. Player's 2 & 3 have to relocate once player 1 attacks downhill. (* If 1 passes early before the elbow [kick ahead], player in the strong side corner can hold the spot being shot ready). If the ball sticks and movement becomes stagnant, it will result in a turnover for the offense. Hold players accountable to re-space with urgency after a drive and kick-out. Goals: Play drive & kick game until the 3 players on offense are able to creat a rhythm shot, downhill drive to the rim, or a one more pass for a catch and shoot. Score it, you keep it. Play to a certain amount of points or time. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA great drill that combines ball screen reads with a SSG. The offense is put into different ball screen situations all over the court and given an advantage. The goal of the offense is to use the ball screen, find the advantage quickly and score. The fiirst progression is that the offense will get one ball screen and one oppurtunity to score. Progressions: 1. Add the missing defender after a set amount of time. (7 seconds) and play it live. 2. Change PnR coverage to work on all situations. (Soft hedge, Blitz, Switch, Hard Hedge, etc..)
