About This Play/Drill

This IBCA baseline out of bounds set is from Rich Czeslawski at Crystal Lake Central HS. The play uses 3 double screens to free up a shooter or create opportunities to isolate a post player.

  • Basketball Play - Triple Double
  • Basketball Play - Triple Double

  • Frame 1:  4 and 5 set a double screen for 3 cutting from weak side elbow around a strong side elbow stack to the wing. Your shooter dives from the back of the stack to the rim. 1 can hit 3 on the wing or the shooter for a layup.
     

  • Frame 2:  4 and 5 then set a double screen for the shooter to the top of the key. 3 looks to hit the shooter for a shot as 1 steps inbounds.
     

  • Frame 3:  4 and 5 set the third double screen for 1 coming inbounds to the weak side wing in case the shooter was not open for the shot.
     

  • Frame 4:  1 looks to hit 5 sealing in the post as 4 flashes to high post. 1 can hit 4 for the high-low, or skip to 3 for the reversal post feed. 5 must work for position while being conscious of a 3-second violation.
