Arkansas runs a very basic pass and screen away attack from their 4-out transition alignment. They keep things very basic in the half court as their primary goal is to shoot and score quickly with their Fastest 40 attack.
Often the trailing post downscreens for wings sprinting to the baseline. When a player passes, he screens away or basket cuts. The Hogs stay in four-out and pass, screen away and/or cut.
The basic rules of the Arkansas transition attack are to stay in the four-out look and pass and screen away.
1 passes to 4 and screens away for 3
4 has two options: reverse to 2 or pass to 3 coming off the screen.
If he passes to 2 he screens way for 3
4 also has the option of passing to 3
4 then downscreens for 2
At times 5 steps out to backscreen for flex cuts
3 now has the same options: reverse to 1 or hit 2 coming off the screen
If 3 passes to 2, he screens away for 1
