The Aces ran this SLOB as they were clawing back in a tense game with the Phoenix Mercury. The most dangerous person in this situation is the inbounder, Kayla McBride. Well timed and executed screening creates an opportunity for her to get to the rim and finish.

    5 sets a back screen for 1 who spaces to the ball side corner.

     

    4 and 5 both flash to the ball as options to receive the inbound pass.

  • 3 enters to 5 and immediately receives a flare screen from 4.

  • 5 passes over the defense to 3 off the flare screen, and 3 attacks on the catch to get to the rim.
