With this play make sure you have a passing 4 man. He has to read the defense as 3 cuts towards him for a hand off. If he can read the defense properly, you can get easy lay ups off of the hand off action. Make sure you 1 is setting the first screen in the double screen for 2, so the defense does not switch the guard to guard screening action. This play is from the 2010-2011 Houston Rockets season.

1. 1 passes to 3 and cuts towards the wing.
2. 3 passes to 4.

1. 3 cuts towards 4 for a hand off.
Option 1 - 4 passes to 3 for a hand off or a lay up if his defender is trailing him.
2. 1 and 5 set 2 a double screen. 2 cuts off of the double screen.
Option 2 - 4 passes to 2 for a shot.
