Altough this play is not overly complex, the ability to read defenses and use screens allows McDermott to catch the ball in the paint moving to the basket.
Creighton ran this stagger vs Seton Hall. McDermott is averaging close to 25 points a game and put up 30 vs Seton Hall. In addition to having range on his jump shot, McDermott is very effective at using screens to get open.
