About This Play/Drill

Michigan State ran this play against Florida to get an open 3-point shot. The first option is off of the staggered screen, but if nothing is there 3 looks to pass to 1 flaring to the left wing.

  • Basketball Play - Michigan State - 1-4 High Curl Double Flare

  • 1 passes to 4 at the high post and 2 makes a back cut to the rim.

  • 1 screens for 5 at the left elbow.

     

    5 cuts to the post and 1 pops out to get the ball.

  • 3 cuts off of a staggered screen from 5 and 4.

  • If 3 doesn't have a shot, he looks to pass to 1 flaring to the left wing off of a screen from 5.
