About This Play/Drill

This simple box set is useful if you need to get a hot shooter a look for 3pt range. The shooter can read the defense on whether to use a straight cut to the corner or curl action.

This can also be implemented vs. a Box-and-1 defense.

  • Basketball Play - Box Stagger Iso Corner
  • Basketball Play - Box Stagger Iso Corner
  • Basketball Play - Box Stagger Iso Corner

  • 1 dribbles at 2

    2 sprints off of 4 screen along the baseline

  • 1 reverses to 3

    2 runs off of 5 screen

    3 passes to 2 for corner 3pt FG

  • If 2 does not have the opportunity to catch and shoot:

     

    2 reverses to 3

    2 runs the baseline

    5 and 4 screen for 2 along the baseline

    3 reverses to 1

    1 passes to 2 for a corner 3 or curl jump shot (read defense)
