Norflok State had a dream run last year at the NCAA Tournament knocking off Missouri. This year they ran up against one of the most difficult opponents to play against style wise in Virginia in the NIT.
Here is a good 1-4 set play from Norfolk State
Super combination drill that incorporates offensive seal, post moves, catching, playing through contact and passing. Many different options of the drill can be created by putting defenders on perimeter players to work on their passing skills. A time saver drill hat will help your practice be more productive.
The key to his play is 2 setting a good screen on 5's defender so 2's defender helps on the diagonal screen. Sell your 2 on setting a good screen, is important to getting him the open shot. When 2 gets the hand off from 4, have 4 set a screen to help him create space from his defender. This play is from the 2010-2011 Houston Rockets season.
Triple option play. First option is for 3 off staggered down screens. Secondary action comes from 4's pin down on 2 who releases to the wing for open shot. Third option is 4 posting up after pinning down for 2. Give it a try!
Nice set play run by the Akron Zips
The Zips ran off an 18 game winning streak this season
Coach Dambrot does a nice job with the Zips as they use good spacing & understand the driving lanes & screening angles
