Favorite Send to FastDrawWatch the video below as Coach Tony Miller uses FastDraw, the #1 play diagramming program for basketball coaches, to break down this ATO design from the Miami Heat under head coach Erik Spoelstra. Help side defenders can’t not get caught watching the ball as the double step up ball screen occurs on the strong side, leaving 2 a chance to slip to the rim. Send to FastDraw using the button above. Favorite Send to FastDrawWatch the video below as Coach Tony Miller uses FastDraw, the #1 play diagramming program for basketball coaches, to break down this sideline set from the NBA’s Miami Heat. Great design if you have two good shooters; one can be a decoy to set up the twist and elevator screen. There is also high potential for a screener slipping to the rim if their defender shows on the shooter. Send to your FastDraw library using the button above. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a simple exit set utilizing a 1-4 low alignment. The clip included shows the set as designed but there are several other components I like about this set as well. With Morris (ideally Adebayo would be here) sprinting up off Herro's brush screen into a simple touch and out middle ball screen there is a component of rim pressure being applied here as well. The Heat do not, but I would lift our weakside guard (Strus) to occupy the tag and place him in a long closeout. You also have the slip, or post feed after the pinscreen for the shooter coming out. I like this set and it's versatility to create a high quality look with space. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great BLOB run by the Miami heat. It give 3 great options throughout the action. 1 is the guy being back screened, 2 is the pass rip through to the player iverson cutting, 3 is the player coming off the elevator screen. i use this with my high school and AAU teams and it is a great way to get an easy bucket. You can also use this in a late clock situation and have the 2 set the back screen then fly through the elevator for a quick shot or curl to the rim. Favorite Send to FastDrawMiami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra called this play vs the Cleveland Cavaliers. 5 can pass to 4 cutting to the basket (lob), hand off to 2 coming out after the back screen, or fake the hand off and attack from the elbow. Favorite Send to FastDrawSpecial SLOB play that coach Erik Spoelstra ran as an ATO vs Golden State. Out of a line formation at the elbow, 3 curls around 4 and 5 (stack) and clears to weak side corner. At the same time, 2 curls around the stack and gets the ball at the top as 1 steps into wing area. 5 turns and sets a a fake screen for 3 to come off, then slips and cuts to basket to receive a lob pass from 2. Timing and misidirection is crucial. #FastDrawArt See More
