2 and 3 move in to screen down for 5 and 4 at the elbows. 5 and 4 pop out and 5 sets a ball-screen for 1 as he dribbles left. Once the screens are set, 2 and 3 cut out to the corners. 1 passes to 4 who passes to 2. 4 can also look inside to 5 making a cut to the rim. If 5 isn't open, 3 sets a back-screen for 4 who cuts to the basket. 2 looks to make the lob pass to 4 or passes to 3 for a shot. See More

In this play, 5 and 4 start at the elbows and screen down for 3 and 2. 1 dribbles to the right wing then passes to 2. Once 2 has the ball, he swings the ball to 3 as 1 cuts across the lane off of a staggered ball-screen from 5 and 4. Once 1 has the ball, 4 screens for 2 and 5 screens for 4. Along the lines of Randy Wittman, Kerr likes to run the Hammer set to get his players open, and in true Kerr style he runs a nice counter out of this set. Having Mo Speights (stretch 5) set the Hammer screen knowing his defender would be prone to sag off and help, and then opens up for a jump shot. See More

With John Wall going down with an injury, the Wizards turned to Bradley Beal to be a facilitator and scorer in his absence. Wittman setup a nice set to create movement and to get Beal coming off a dribble handoff and get an open look. First Beal passes to the wing and then cuts off a UCLA screen from the big at the elbow, and then sits down in the post. The guard on the wing passes to the elbow and sets a down screen for Beal who then receives a dribble handoff from the big and looks to attack. See More

This play comes from the 13-14 Celtics, and is a simple flex screen-down screen pick the picker play. The action is very common to the NBA, but starting the play out of a Horns P/R is a twist that Brad Stevens added to the play. This sets up the next play, Horns 24, quite nicely. See More

The players are set up in a box set with the posts at the elbows. Both 5 and 4 screen down for 3 and 2 at the blocks. 1 passes to 2 on the right wing then cuts off of a screen from 5 at the elbow to the opposite corner. 5 then flashes to the high post to get the pass from 2. If 5 isn't open, 5 and 4 step out to set a double ball-screen on the wing. 2 drives middle looking to score, pass off to 5 rolling, or kick out to 1 in the corner. See More

Another new set the Cavaliers have ran in the Chicago Bulls series has been a set that Doc Rivers ran with Rajon Rondo in Boston and now with Chris Paul in Los Angeles. With Tyronn Lue being an assistant and a main cog in the Cavs system this year, he added this set for Kyrie to get on the move and receive a dribble handoff and attack. The set starts with a pass to the wing and cuts through towards the rim. As Kyrie cuts through the ball is reversed to the top of the key and Kyrie cuts off a double screen from 2 & 4 into a dribble handoff from 5. Kyrie looks to attack initially and if he is stopped, 5 steps up and sets a spread ballscreen for 1. See More
