Basketball Play - Middle Tennessee - Ballscreen Motion

Middle Tennessee - Ballscreen Motion

Gibson Pyper 03/19/2016

This is what Middle Tennessee runs behind what they run. Any set that is run, or does not create a scoring chance typically flows right into this or they can get into this quickly with multiple scoring options off of it. When run all the way through you can have an option for a backdoor, dribble hand off, duck in off ball reversal, and then the triangle corner pick and roll action. See More

Basketball Play - Wisconsin - Wing Post ISO

Wisconsin - Wing Post ISO

John Leonzo 03/19/2016

Wisconsin ran this play two times in a row to take the lead over Wisconsin midway into the second half of their NCAA tournament game against Pittsburgh. This is a nice post up set because the man guarding the post-up player has to guard some action prior to the initial post up, making for a better scoring opportunity. See More

Basketball Play - Temple - Stagger Elevator

Temple - Stagger Elevator

Craig LeVasseur 03/18/2016

Temple ran this set at 17:20 in the first half against Iowa. In contrast to the common Wheel action involving consecutive stagger screens, Temple switches things up and sets an elevator screen instead of a second stagger. I also like the first option of the play with 3 coming off a rip screen, giving him two different scoring options on the play. See More

Basketball Play - Purdue - ATO Magic

Purdue - ATO Magic

Gibson Pyper 03/16/2016

This set is one of the best sets I have seen from the 2015-16 NCAA season. It has so many layers and options to it and is forcing the defense to guard for the entire possession. It has screen the screener action, double cross screen into roll and replace action, into a high low opportunity and then when the defense collapses to help on the post, double stagger for a guard to get a shot.
