Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is the SLOB ran last night by Brad Stevens and Butler down 70-67 against Marquette with .13 to play. The play used great misdirection in getting Clarke a clean look at a 3 which bounced off, but because of the great weak side rebounding position by Butler, they were able to tap in the rebound cutting the lead to 70-69. A very well designed set by from a timeout situation by the Butler Bulldogs and their great young Coach Brad Stevens. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is the Sideline Out of Bounds play game winner ran by the Spurs on Opening night. Tony Parker came off a triple screen to hit the shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis BLOB comes from the game between the Maryland Terrapins and Kentucky Wildcats. 5 & 4 move into a stagger screen position for 1. 1 breaks off his cut between 5 & 4 and re-fills to the top as a safety. As 1 is coming between 5 & 4, 2 begins his cut trying to run his defender into the defender from 1 and takes the stagger screens set by 5 & 4 to receive a pass in the corner for the three pointer. Easy to run and effective. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSet good screens and cut hard. Inbounder needs to hit the players right when they get open and not make them wait on the ball. Get a basket off of the inbound pass or get right into your offense. This play is from the 2011-2012 Georgia Southern season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great action from the Golden State Warriors. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawShooter needs to set his man up and make a good read. Screeners need to set goo solid screens and then react out of them to make an offense play. Unless it is an end of game situation where your team is up then side line out of bounds basketball play should be run to get a bucket. You either want to score right out of the sideline play or get right into your offense. Don’t waist opportunities to run set out bounds plays. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis sideline out of bounds set is something that we like to run because it provides an opporunity for our best penetrator and ball-handler to attack off the bounce to an open side. Having a 4 man that can shoot it from the perimeter helps stretch the defense and opens up the lane for 5 to duck-in at the rim. We've used the stagger screen as false-movement to occupy the defense, but it could also be a beneficial scoring option. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA good play doesn’t always score right out of the set but because it is run well it puts the defense out of position. This allows the offensive players to drive and kick and find open shooters or open big men. Be aggressive off of the ball screen and make a play for yourself or a teammate. This play is from the 2007-2008 Chicago Bulls season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAs soon as the ball is inbounded you want to get right into the play. Your first look is for the cutter coming off of the re screen but don’t get so focused on him that you miss the big man who set the screen or the weak side screening action. The cutter needs to sell his slice cut to get his defender to drop into the paint. After the big man sets the rescreen he needs to open up to the ball and look to get a catch. This play is from the 2007-2008 Chicago Bulls season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis set was run by the Chicago Bulls in the 2006-2007 season. This set is designed to get you two isolation opportunites for your 2 man. Once he inbounds the ball and makes his procut to the opposite wing, and if he can not create off of that action, he has a big coming to set him a side ball screen. For this play to work, your 2 has to be able to score off of the dribble. See More
