Favorite Send to FastDrawIn a Need 3 situation last night to keep their winning streak alive, the Miami Heat ran this play to get Ray Allen an open three. However, the Chicago Bulls sniffed it out and forced him to take a tought two off the dribble. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLast night the Chicago Bulls ran this pick & roll action in the 4th quarter to help end the Miami Heat's 27 game winning streak. This play came a few possessions after Lebron was called for aa Flagrant 1 after barrelling into a screen from Boozer. On this action since the screen was lifted a little higher Lebron went under the screen which allowed Hinrich to get a step ahead coming off the pick, this forced X3 (Wade) to help on the penetration which free'd up Deng for an open three-pointer. Favorite Send to FastDrawMake sure your 1 sets a good cross screen to get open of of the down screen from 4. Practice with your 2 on setting up his defender so he can get an open shot off of 5's pin down screen. This play is from the 2010-2011 Houston Rockets season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawFor this set make your high post entry to your best passing big. Line up your biggest wing opposite corner of where the high post entry pass is going, so if the defense switches guard to guard screening action, you have a size mismatch. Make sure you sell to your point guards that setting a good cross screen will help get them an open shot off of 5's down screen. This play is from the 2012-2013 Wisconsin Green Bay season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOn Sunday afternoon in the SEC Championship game, Ole Miss Head Coach Andy Kennedy called out this action in their remarkable comeback victory versus the Florida Gators. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLast night in their game versus the Brooklyn Nets, the Dallas Mavericks ran this baseline out of bounds their play during the 2nd Half. This is a great screen the screener set that my high school team ran this year; but we never added the second screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGeorgetown used this quick hitter to free up a shooter in their win over Cincinnati in the Big East Tournament. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawNew Mexico used this baseline out of bounds set for a quick score against Wyoming in the opening round of the Mountain West Tournament. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAn action I saw this past weekend that would be great for a shooter. Most teams have an action where they screen big on big to get their 5 man sprinting into a ballscreen. This action counters that by screening in for the 4 man and trying to get him a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawYesterday the Creighton Bluejays ran this Quick Hitter on their way to winning The Valley Championship and a birth to the 2013 NCAA Tournament. Gibbs and McDermott are probably as good a duo in the college game as Stockton and Malone were in the NBA. They do a phenomenal job reading each other on the offensive end of the floor. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMissing their leading scorer in Carmelo Anthony, the New York Knicks went to a small line-up Thursday night in their game vs the Oklahome City Thunder. Late in the 2nd Half the Knicks ran this pick & roll action to force the defense to sink in to guard the ballscreen action which opened up some shooters on the perimeter. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLast night the Brooklyn Nets ran this half-court set in their 76-72 loss vs the Memphis Grizzlies. I am a big fan of screening bigs into picks to make the defense be late on their help. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Wisconsin Badgers ran this set play for a lob on the first possession of the 2nd Half against the #3 ranked Michigan Wolverines on 2/9/13. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play is from the 2010-2011 Houston Rockets season. The big key for this play to work is having a post player that can make a pass out of the post. You have to make sure you get the timing down of your 5 man rolling off of the ball screen into the cross screen from 2, and your 4 man receiving the pass from 1. If you can train your 4 man to make the read on slipping the down screen set for 2, you will be able to get him easy lay ups. See More
