Basketball Play - Davidson - Stagger

Davidson - Stagger

Adam Spinella 09/08/2013

Bob McKillop and the Davidson Men's Basketball Team run this as one option in their 4-out motion offense as a quick option out of transition. This play has the featured action of a downscreen for the big man, whom McKillop has featured frequently as a good shooter over the past few seasons. If there is a stretch shooting big man on your team, this is a nice set to get him coming off a downscreen. See More

Triangle Quick

Kyle Gilreath 08/12/2013

Last night I wanted to get to bed early after moving all weekend but got caught watching the 2008 NBA Finals between the Lakers-Celtics, and I couldn't turn it off! This is an action out of Phil Jackson's Triangle Offense that allows for two simultaneous scoring cuts from Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher. If the defense over helps on either screen slip 3 or 4 to the rim. See More

Pin Reverse Fade

Adam Spinella 07/22/2013

Kevin Stallings and Vanderbilt have run this play for a few seasons, most notably with Festus Ezeli during the 2011-2012 season. As a four guard set it opens up the lane for a screening big man to slip to the rim and for guards to get many good shooting looks. See More

Basketball Play - Boise State-False Motion

Boise State-False Motion

Kyle Brown 03/13/2013

A great way to run some time off the clock and limit possesions is to run "false motion" boise state runs some of the best that I have seen. They were able to almost beat UNLV at UNLV while running this down the stretch into 1 of their sets. The most important teaching points for this is to cut to score, short easy passes, and stay high and wide. See More
