Hawks Line
05/17/2015This is a play that the Atlanta Hawks have run a few times in the 2015 NBA Playoffs. It is a quick look from the sidelines out-of-bounds to get an easy post-up. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play that the Washington Wizards ran at the end of Game 4 for Paul Pierce is one of my new favorites. It is very simple yet extremely effective as a misdirection. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA really good BLOB set that Shaka Smart used to run at VCU against a man-to-man defense. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a last second play that can also be used at the end of quarters in high school. One of our opponents ran this BLOB to perfection against us a couple seasons ago. We did not defend the action very well and gave up the open shot in the corner to lose by one point. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a quick hitting BLOB set that one of our opponents ran against us two seasons ago. If the shooter does not have the open shot in the opposite corner coming off the double screens, he can then look inside for a post entry. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Clippers used this ATO play in Game 5 against the Spurs, down 3 with 30 seconds left in the game. Chris Paul receives an L ballscreen from the Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, and the play is set up by Paul using the screen from Jordan. Jordan rolls hard off of the screen, and the spread alignment forces x4, Duncan, to bump the roll from Jordan and avoid the lob. Paul quickly throws back to Griffin, who swings and follows for a Side P/R with Jamal Crawford. There is no way Duncan can Show against the ballscreen after having to bump Jordan in the paint, and this forces a difficult rotation for the Spurs to contain the roll by Griffin. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a SLOB that Coach Izzo uses at Michigan State. It can be run as a full-court or half-court play. If you have an athletic 5, it also provides them with the opportunity to rip and drive by their man. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis was the game-winning play that was run by the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 4 of their playoff series against the Chicago Bulls. For more, check out my website www.coachpeelbasketball.com, sign up for a membership, and get your first 30 days free. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is an After Time Out set that the Washington Wizards ran on April15, 2015 vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers. An important possession to send the game into overtime. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCounters to the UNC Secondary Break. "Dribble" option is a counter to denial of pass to the trailing post. It is a read not a call. Players react to point guard dribbling over the high ball screen from the trailer. Tips: 2's rule is the same: Touch the block then backscreen for trailer 4 goes and sets the ball screen even with the lane line 2 takes one or two dribbles after separating from the screen and looks to make "scoop" entry into the post See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a late game SLOB set that Doc Rivers has used with many of his teams in the past. Getting your best shooter involved in ball screen and flare screen action can be very difficult to defend. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawRick Carlisle runs a very nice Baseline Out of Bounds set to get a look for a shooter in the corner. See More
