Basketball Play - Cal Poly- Box Curl

Cal Poly- Box Curl

Jake Presutti 12/15/2014

Cal-Poly ran this baseline out of bounds play in their opening round win of the NCAA Tournament. Timing is extremely important with this set as the down screen and the pass to the corner need to be simultaneous. This is a perfect set is you have a strong, physical guard that can score in the paint. See More

Basketball Play - High - Oakland

High - Oakland

Alan Peel 12/15/2014

This is a variation of the baseline out of bounds play (BLOB) "Oakland" that I posted some time ago. This play is run from a 1-4 high formation as opposed to a 1-4 low formation to take advantage of teams that like to play man-to-man defense against baseline inbounds plays. Basketball Play - Stack

Stack

Alan Peel 10/29/2014

With teams deciding to press in the backcourt on sideline out of bounds plays, "Stack" gives a team a chance to get the ball inbounds and either set up their press offense, attack down the floor, or clear out and set up their halfcourt offense. Basketball Play - Side Need 3

Side Need 3

Kyle Gilreath 10/17/2014

After a furious comeback in the 4th quarter last night, the Chicago Bulls ran this sideline out-of-bounds play with 1.5 seconds remaining to beat the Atlanta Hawks in Pre-Season action. In typical fashion of any great Need play, Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau drew up a screen the screener action to create enough space and allow the catch & shoot for Butler before the defense could recover.
