Basketball Play - Calvin-Hi/Lo

Calvin-Hi/Lo

Kyle Brown 01/03/2013

An action I saw on film and really liked. Simple but effective the 4 man cuts hard to the block and has to sell to his defender that he is trying to get the pass from 1. Then the hi/lo look will be their. The thing I like about this set is that you could run it for any of the 4 perimeter guys to take advantage of a mismatch in the post. See More

Basketball Play - Reindeer 2

Reindeer 2

NHSBCA NHSBCA 12/21/2012

Here's a fun play for the holidays out of a "Reindeer" set from the NHSBCA Playbook. The 1 brings the ball up the floor and signals which of the players stacked together at the free throw line will step out to set a ball screen. The options that follow all depend on who set the initial screen. See More

Basketball Play - High Iso - 34-2

High Iso - 34-2

Bert DeSalvo 12/12/2012

At Clarion University WBB, we have an All-American caliber type of player, sophomore, Hannah Heeter. During her freshman year, she was the only freshman in Division I or Division II Women's Basketball to average a double-double. Considering her talents, I wanted to develop multiple quick hitters to allow Heeter to be the dynamic player/playmaker that she is. See More

Basketball Play - "Horns" - Ball Screen Slip

"Horns" - Ball Screen Slip

Luke Riegel 12/01/2012

This is a set that is effective if you have one or two good interior post players. The initial High/Low action is good early offense that you may be able to take advantage of before you even get to the ballscreen-slip. Then you have the opportunity to hit your 5 man slipping to the rim or hitting your 4 man spacing on the perimeter. You will have opportunities for high percentage shots regardless of which movement you take advantage of. See More
