Basketball Play - Steph Curry Relocate Shooting Drill

Steph Curry Relocate Shooting Drill

null null 06/12/2018

Steph Curry is one of the best in the NBA at relocating after driving and dishing. He sprints out after the penetration to open space and this creates many open looks for himself. In this drill, players will work on spacing off of a drive as well as relocating to space after a drive. This can be done from multiple areas on the court (as shown), using 2-5 players, and using a Dr. Dish Shooting Machine. See More

Basketball Play - Duke Blue Devils - Flash Hold

Duke Blue Devils - Flash Hold

Dave Nedbalek 11/09/2018

This may not be the most innovative set, but it is the essence of good offense: get your best player the ball in spots where he/she can be effective. Duke will flash Reddish or Williamson to the elbow extended area and space off of him. They are trusting in their decision making, but also trusting that regardless of the defense knowing exactly what is coming they will find a way. The worst thing you can do to elite players is neutralize their skill by running them through aimless sets. As quickly as possible, get your best player the ball in their spot. For those of us that don't have 5 lottery picks on our roster, I added a wrinkle to the last frame that might serve you well with some split action around the catch. Stagger Shooting (Phase A)

Randy Sherman 05/02/2019

This Phase A Stagger Shooting drill can serve as a breakdown drill for Motion Strong. In Phase A drills the focus is on introduction and examination of technique. In this drill we are working on techniques such as setting up the screen, the footwork into the catch and shooting mechanics. There is a Dr Dish option in the catch-and-shoot phase of this drill as well. The goal is to progress to other phases of drilling which offer decisions for the offensive player as soon as possible. Basketball Play - Texas Longhorns - 4 Flat Twist

Texas Longhorns - 4 Flat Twist

Dave Nedbalek 11/18/2020

Another action from Shaka Smart that the Longhorns utilized efficiently in the '19-20 season was this 4 flat into a twisted ball screen. This action would be used to counter teams that hard hedged or tried to show aggressively to contain the Longhorn guards. With the last minute twist to the screen it would penalize good coverage and leave runways for the Longhorn perimeter players to drive, cut, dish and repeat. The beauty is in the simplicity. #Top25XsOs: Honorable Mention Teams | Teams 25-21 | Teams 20-16 | Teams 15-11 | Teams 10-6 | Teams 5-1 *New customers use discount code SAVE10 at purchase* See More
