Favorite Send to FastDrawSteph Curry is one of the best in the NBA at relocating after driving and dishing. He sprints out after the penetration to open space and this creates many open looks for himself. In this drill, players will work on spacing off of a drive as well as relocating to space after a drive. This can be done from multiple areas on the court (as shown), using 2-5 players, and using a Dr. Dish Shooting Machine. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAll 4 players with the ball are driving. 2 bounces to the box coming to a jump stop on 2 feet. Players will pivot to where they are passing and snap the pass to the next person in line and rotate to the line they pass to. 5 in the corner will throw the drift pass being the only one that does not come to a jump stop (Stride Pass). Favorite Send to FastDrawDeveloping Positionless Players: The holistic approach looks to work on the whole player from ball handling, passing, shooting, post ups and all other parts that go into a building a complete skillset. Players aren’t separated by position, they work together on the same skills for that day. FMS Blog: Player Development - Training Guards and Posts Together See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawKill the Grass has served us well over the years. We find this drill to be most beneficial when we are working with large numbers of campers and/or youth players. Players work with a partner or a group of three. Our older varsity players will also be spread throughout the gym and model the fundamental skills. They say, "It's not what you teach, but what you emphasize." KTG emphasizes the following fundamentals: passing, catching, triple threat, closing out, ball pressure, shot and foot fakes, blow-by and crossover live ball moves, dribbling, stops and pivots. Favorite Send to FastDrawDefender stands at the elbow facing the basket. Offense is on the baseline and dribbles out to the defender and goes around the defender. Once the offense turns the corner it is live. Offense is getting shoulder tip hip/chest and trying to cut off or veer defense to finish. ADD ON: Dribble decision making/change of direction move can be added. Defender can lift up right or left arm to signal what way the offense must go around. See More
