Simple, but effective, this quick hitter is used to get an open high low catch in the post to score. If that is not open, the screener is then isolated against a defender closing fast, creating an immediate shot/drive decision.

After this play was left dormant for several years in the Raptors playbook, Nick Nurse has brought it back this season to get Danny Green perimeter jumpers. Dwane Casey had previously run this play at least as early as the 2013-14 in Toronto for DeMar DeRozan, but had left it unused in recent seasons. In 2018-19, Nick Nurse has opened several games running this play.
